What Is the Denture Process?
Dr. Schneider evaluates your gums, remaining teeth, jaw alignment, and overall oral health before recommending the right treatment. Patients receiving partial dentures keep their healthy natural teeth while replacing the spaces created by missing teeth. These custom restorations are designed to blend with your existing smile and help improve balance while chewing and speaking. Patients who need full dentures receive a complete set of replacement teeth after any necessary extractions and healing. In some cases, temporary removable dentures may be provided during the healing period before the new restoration is placed. Each denture is crafted for a secure, comfortable fit. Once it is ready, Dr. Schneider makes precise adjustments so it feels natural during everyday activities. Follow-up visits allow additional refinements as your mouth adapts.

Schneider Dental Reviews
Dr. Schneider and his staff are the absolute best! The whole team is very friendly and extremely professional. I always receive the best care at his office, and I leave every appointment pleased with my experience. My entire family comes to Schneider Dental, and I have seen the doctor and his staff go above and beyond for their patients. I cannot recommend Dr. Schneider and his office enough!
Just when you think the concept of good patient care and customer service is a thing of the past you walk into Dr Schneider’s office and are reminded it does still exist. His office staff are welcoming, warm, and happy. They greet you like you are family coming for a visit. It’s a relaxed atmosphere without high pressure up selling of fancy new dental procedures that you are made to believe you can’t live without. Dr Schneider and his staff do not disappoint and I whole heartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a great dentist.
Amazing staff. Dr. Schneider and Cami are incredible. I was a little nervous when he started but I’m so happy and amazed with him!
As a recent Retiree from the Aerospace and Higher Education industry and US Navy Viet Nam Veteran, I was first introduced to Dr. Alexander R. Schneider, DDS two years ago where he diagnosed and treated me for a crown on one of my teeth. He did an outstanding job at that time of providing quality care where "my smile" had returned without a painful experience. I made my appointment for my annual examination through the Office Manger and Receptionist, Yvette Amendola, who through the years has always greeted the patients with professional and courteous communication to all of us who needed dental care. I was very pleased to learn that after Dr. Robin Chapman Retired, Dr. Schneider took over her practice and my Dental Care. Dr. Schneider is assisted by his Dental Assistant, Camy, when he performed my examination. Both Dental Professionals were constantly thinking about my comfort throughout the examination! I would highly recommend those individuals whom are interested in painless dentistry from a known Dental Specialist who has a Quality Dental Practice to contact the "Best kept secret" in Upland, CA. You won't be disappointed.
This was my first appointment with Dr. Schneider, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The entire team was welcoming, thorough, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions About Dentures
How do I know which type of denture is right for me?
The right denture depends on several factors, including how many teeth are missing, the condition of your remaining teeth, and your overall oral health. Dr. Schneider will recommend an option that fits comfortably and functions well. Every treatment plan is customized to meet each patient's individual needs and goals.
How long does it take to adjust to wearing dentures?
Most people need a short adjustment period as their mouth becomes accustomed to their new dentures. Speaking, eating, and smiling generally become easier with regular use and a little patience. Follow-up visits allow Dr. Schneider to make small adjustments that improve comfort and fit during this transition.
Can dentures be adjusted after they are made?
As your mouth changes over time, your dentures may need adjustments to improve their fit and function. Minor modifications can often relieve pressure areas and create a more comfortable experience. Regular dental visits help identify these needs before they become larger concerns.
Can dentures be worn while sleeping?
Many patients are encouraged to remove their dentures at night. Giving the gums time to rest helps keep the soft tissues healthier and allows the dentures to be cleaned thoroughly. Dr. Schneider can recommend the routine that is most appropriate for your specific situation.
What foods should I avoid with dentures?
Most patients return to enjoying a wide variety of foods after becoming comfortable with their dentures. Very sticky, extremely hard, or chewy foods may require extra caution because they can place additional stress on the appliance. Cutting food into smaller pieces and chewing evenly on both sides can make meals more comfortable.
